# How to use Akkadu in hybrid events

There are three different scenarios depending on to whom you want to provide the translation solution:

# Only the on-site audience


hybrid_onsite
  • If your client is using a video conferencing platform such as Zoom, WebEx, Teams, Google Meets, etc. to video stream to the online audience:

  • If your client is using a video streaming platform such as YouTube Live, Vimeo, Facebook Live, etc. to video stream to the online audience:

Note:

The reason you cannot use the online approach when your client is using video streaming platforms, is because the video streaming platforms usually have a delay of 5 to 30 seconds. Meaning, if you use the online approach the interpreters, transcribers and AI system; will receive the audio with 5 to 30 seconds delay, and as a consequence, the audience also will receive the translation with 5 to 30 seconds delay.

# Only the online audience

  • If your client is using a video conferencing platform such as Zoom, WebEx, Teams, Google Meets, etc. or is using a video streaming platform such as YouTube Live, Vimeo, Facebook Live, etc. to video stream to the online audience:

# Both the on-site and online audience
